Connie Marrero was a Cuban professional baseball pitcher. He pitched from 1950 to 1954 for the Washington Senators. Marrero threw curves, sliders and knucklers. One of the many reasons that I admire Marrero is that he was 38 years old when he started his major league career. He is now 104 years old and is the oldest living former Major League Baseball player.
