Community of Champions
On September 11, 2011, the Class A Vancouver Canadians won the Northwest League Championship. “A Community of Champions” celebrates not only the ballplayers, but the many people – employees and fans – who made the championship possible. I am very pleased to report that the Canadians have been successful in winning the Championship in 2012 and 2013 as well!

Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium
This painting was commissioned by Jeff Mooney, one of the owners of the Vancouver Canadians. He is the originator and strong supporter of the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation which “will make a positive and lasting impression on many young lives thanks to your support. These children will become our legacy, and we feel there is no better place to learn life skills, teamwork and compassion than as part of a committed effort focused on cultivating our youth to be leaders of our community.”

What Jeff Sees….interior of Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium
This is a commissioned painting where I was asked to paint what the client’s husband sees from his season ticketed seat at the Nat. In this painting, I wanted to reflect how amazing a night game is with the spectacular sunsets, followed by the clear night sky peppered with stars. There are no people in the stands, just mascots, waiting for the fans to arrive. I believe that expectation in baseball, such as waiting for the game to begin, is one of the most enjoyable parts of the game….
